[There's a warm smile at that. Really it's...a bit strange to find himself discussing such matters with Clive, or at all. Marriage was just a long forgotten dream he gave up even before he met Benedikta, knowing his fate as a Dominant didn't exactly lend to "family rearing" unless one was the Phoenix. And it was only after things developed between himself and Benedikta did that dream flicker briefly before it was doused completely.

[ Those words mean more to Clive than Cid may well ever know. Their mission... the things they fought so long and hard for finally being realized in a world not of their own. But no matter where they are it was their lives to live however they sought fit.
It was a thought that nearly clouded the man's eyes, but he brushes it away in an attempt to head further towards the door. Yet, before leaving completely, he'll turn and nod at the man one more time. A solemn understanding, and a commitment for the their futures.
To live by their own means... to finally be free. That was something worth celebrating. ]
