And it was only after things developed between himself and Benedikta did that dream flicker briefly before it was doused completely.

It was a thought that nearly clouded the man's eyes, but he brushes it away in an attempt to head further towards the door. Yet, before leaving completely, he'll turn and nod at the man one more time. A solemn understanding, and a commitment for the their futures.
